Griing Talk is a language-learning service for level-matched 1:1 conversation practice. These terms are deliberately short — please actually read them.
What Griing Talk is (and isn't)
Griing Talk matches you with a conversation partner near your level so you can practice speaking English or Korean. It is a learning service — not a dating or social-discovery service.
What you see today is a preview (demo). You can click through sign-up, onboarding, and matching, but there are no real partners and no live video yet. Live 1:1 video arrives at launch.
Who can use it (18+)
Griing Talk is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to use the service, including this preview. We ask your birth year at sign-up and rely on your honest answer.
What “preview” means
Your account in the preview is not a real account. Everything you enter is stored in cookies in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy) and may disappear when cookies expire or are deleted.
We may change, reset, or remove preview features at any time without notice. Updated terms will be posted before launch features (live video, real accounts) go live.
Rules of conduct
Griing Talk is for language learning. The following are not allowed — in the preview or after launch:
Using the service for dating, romantic, or sexual purposes, or treating partners as dates.
Pressuring a partner to share contact details or social accounts, or to move off-platform.
Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, sexual remarks, or anything that makes a partner feel unsafe.
Recording, capturing, or photographing a session or a partner. We do not record sessions — and neither may you.
Impersonation, providing a false age, or using the service while under 18.
Safety: panic button & reporting
Live sessions at launch will include a panic button: pressing it immediately ends the session, separates you from the partner, and files a report. Reports are reviewed, and violations of these rules can lead to warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban.
The current preview has no user-to-user interaction, but if you spot a problem or have a safety concern, email hello@griing.com.

The preview is provided as-is, for evaluation. We make no promises about availability, accuracy, or that your demo data will persist.
Changes & contact
When these terms change, the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be announced in the product.
